Cook's Quilt
Size: 90cm square

Description: This quirky, fun quilt was created with a friend in mind, who enjoys cooking and has decorated her kitchen with Chilli Peppers, pictures, ornaments, etc. The quilt has 9 blocks, 23 cm square, each one depicting a simple recipe some savory, some sweet but all simply delicious. Surrounding each recipe are colourful images of the recipe ingredients. Have fun rummaging through your applique scrap box for fabric the colour of spanish onion, pumpkin and mushrooms too.

Raw edge and free motion applique and quilting. Alternatively the pattern can be worked in turned applique or satin stitch on the machine or buttonholed by hand.

Whilst making this quilt remember you can sew "guilt free" as you are actually thinking of what to cook for the family dinner as you sew!
